Verdict: 4.7/5

SiteToSocial is the most complete Pinterest automation tool we’ve reviewed. You add your website once, and it does the whole routine every day: finds the phrases people search on Pinterest, writes the pin text in your language, designs the pin from your photos (or AI images) and posts it to the right board. At $10 per website a month, with keyword research and analytics included, it’s also the cheapest way we found to get fresh pins out daily. The trade-offs are real but narrow: no video pins, Pinterest only, and a shorter history than Tailwind.

This SiteToSocial review covers how it works, every feature that matters, what each plan costs, who it suits, and where it falls short, based on its published features, plans and documentation as of October 2026. We’re not paid by SiteToSocial or anyone else on this site; see how we compare tools.

What is SiteToSocial?

SiteToSocial is a Pinterest automation tool that turns a website into a daily stream of pins. Schedulers like Buffer post the pins you’ve made. SiteToSocial makes them: a keyword, a title, a description and a designed image for every page of your site. Then it posts them through Pinterest’s official API. You set it up once, which takes about five minutes.

How SiteToSocial works, step by step

  1. Add your website. It reads your sitemap and lists every post and product page. No sitemap (Etsy, Medium)? Paste a list of links. You can re-scan for new pages any time.
  2. Connect Pinterest on Pinterest’s own approval screen. Each website posts to its own Pinterest account.
  3. Choose boards. Let it create up to 20 smart boards named after real Pinterest searches in your language, use your existing boards, or both.
  4. Preview. On the photo-based plans you can see your photo pins before anything goes out.
  5. It runs. Each day it picks the next page, researches its keyword, writes and designs a fresh pin and posts it, up to 15 a day, spread through the day.

Features in detail

Keyword research from Pinterest’s own data

Every pin starts from a phrase people search. For English it uses Pinterest’s ads keyword data, with monthly search volume for the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand. For 16 more languages, including German, French, Spanish and Italian, it uses Pinterest Trends. That’s the core of why its pins get found, and most competitors either charge extra for keyword data or don’t have it.

AI-written pin text in 54 languages

Titles, descriptions, hashtags and alt text are written for each pin, from the page’s actual content and the researched keyword. In 54 languages, written natively rather than translated. For non-English sites this is the biggest difference between SiteToSocial and everything else we compared; see Pinterest in other languages.

Pin design: your photos or AI images

On Standard, pins are designed from the photos already on your pages, in 24 layouts and collages with 47 color palettes, with your title on the image. The Premium plans add AI images drawn for each article: 5 a day on Premium Lite, 10 on Premium, and every pin on Premium+. That suits sites without Pinterest-friendly photos. Product pages always use the real product photos.

Fair rotation through your whole site

Every page gets a pin before any page gets its next one, with at most 2 pins a day per page, and up to 100 different pins per page over time. Old posts that never got traffic get their turn. That’s something RSS-based tools can’t do at all.

Account safety

Official API with OAuth 2.0, so it never sees your password. Pins are spread through the day, and new accounts get a 12-day warm-up from zero to about 15 pins a day. As far as we found, no other Pinterest tool warms up new accounts automatically; more in our warm-up guide.

Analytics

Impressions, engagements, saves, pin clicks and outbound clicks, per website or for all your sites together, over anything from 24 hours to 90 days.

Free Pinterest tools

Separately from the plans, SiteToSocial offers 10 free Pinterest tools, including a keyword tool, title and description generator and pin maker, free for 3 uses a day without signup. Tools Pro raises that to 60 a day for $10 for 30 days.

Our verdict

SiteToSocial earns its 4.7. It removes more of the Pinterest routine than any other tool we compared, it’s built on the right data, and it’s careful with your account. The missing pieces, video and other networks, matter only if you need them. For a blog or shop that wants steady Pinterest traffic without spending hours a week on it, it’s the one we’d start with.

Frequently asked questions

What is SiteToSocial?

SiteToSocial is a Pinterest automation tool that turns a website into daily Pinterest pins. It reads your sitemap, researches the keywords people search on Pinterest for each page, writes the title and description with AI, designs the pin and posts it to the best board through Pinterest's official API.

How much does SiteToSocial cost?

Plans are priced per website per month: Standard $10, Premium Lite $29 (5 AI images a day), Premium $39 (10 AI images a day) and Premium+ $49 (every pin an AI image). Yearly billing saves 10%, so Standard works out at $9 a month ($108 a year).

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account gets 14 days of Standard for one website with no card. The trial posts 1 pin a day and ends by itself, so nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.

Is SiteToSocial safe for my Pinterest account?

Yes. It posts through Pinterest's official API with OAuth 2.0, never asks for your password, spreads pins through the day, caps each account at 15 pins a day and warms up new accounts over 12 days.

Does SiteToSocial work for online shops?

Yes. It pins product pages from your sitemap, or from a list of links for Etsy and other sites without one. Product pins always use the real product photos, so shops run on the Standard plan.

Which languages does SiteToSocial support?

Pin titles, descriptions, hashtags and alt text are written in 54 languages. Keyword data uses Pinterest's monthly search numbers for English and Pinterest Trends for 16 more languages.

What are the downsides of SiteToSocial?

It is a newer tool with a shorter track record than Tailwind, it posts image pins only (no video), it covers Pinterest only, and each website posts at most 15 pins a day to its own Pinterest account.

Does SiteToSocial renew automatically?

No. Nothing renews by itself, and paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
